That is the whole app. There is no feed to scroll, no streak to protect and nothing to catch up on beyond three days.

What it looks like

  1. The home screen. A green bean pet under the line "It knows something."
    It has been waiting all day. It is delighted about this.
  2. A fact on screen, the colour drained out of the background, and a button reading "Oh..."
    The fact lands, the room goes cold, and you have to say something.
  3. Settings, showing the row of pets to choose from and the daily reminder time.
    Pick your pet and the time of day you get interrupted.
  4. The share sheet, showing a card with the pet and the fact on it.
    Send it to someone. Then they have to know it too.

What it does

  • One fact a day, at a time you choose.
  • Miss a few days and you get up to three to catch up. Not eleven.
  • Send one to somebody as a picture, a sticker or a short video of your own pet telling it.
  • Eleven pets to choose from. Twelve languages.

What it doesn’t

  • No account, no sign-up, no email address.
  • No ads, and no tracking across other apps or sites.
  • Your collection of facts is kept on your phone, not on a server.
  • It does send usage data so we can see which parts get used: which screens you open and which fact number you were shown, tied to a random number rather than to you. You canswitch it off.

Is this AI generated?

No, the facts are real, sorry.

Are the images AI generated?

No, and strictly speaking there are no images. The pet is drawn by the app while you are looking at it: every curve of it is a bezier path in code, in SwiftUI on iPhone and in Jetpack Compose on Android. That is why it can blink, squash when it lands and move its tongue while it talks, and why the same drawing works at 22 points in the Dynamic Island and at full size on the home screen. The only picture file in the whole app is the icon on your home screen, and that is a script drawing the same shapes.

Do you validate every fact?

No. I have not asked every single French person whether they call white asparagus “a mademoiselle’s fingers”. They are researched rather than invented, though. Citations are on the list, because that sounds fun.
